What the Fitcampers say
Here's a breakdown of how we are helping the community on a daily basis. We believe it's important to keep track of our progress and impact.
Elzette
In January 2023, I joined Sandy and Norman's boot camp at the insistence of my future daughter-in-law. In December 2022, I could not even go up a little hill without feeling like my heart wanted to stop. The best thing about boot camp is that it doesn't matter if you are old or young, small or large, male or female, everyone is there for themselves. No one is judging or criticizing you. You do what your body can handle and soon you will feel it’s getting easier. I've dropped two pant sizes and have lots of energy. I made a lot of new friends with the same goals. The energy I get every evening at boot camp with Sandy and Norman is contagious. I make a great effort to never miss an evening. Thanks Coach Sandy and Coach Norman, you both rock.
The Over 50's
It all started with a friend, who invited a friend and eventually the men had FOMO. We might be the over 50's group, but we have energy, endurance and are "more a less" fit. Our main goal was to improve our fitness for our Mountain Biking but our journey changed to meeting awesome people, having fun and at the same time challenging our bodies. We love the vast variation in excersises... actually we just love BOOTCAMP. Thank you Norman & Sandy for this amazing journey
Over 50's part 2
We bring the fun to Bootcamp. Age is but a number. We are much fitter than before and our Mountain Biking and Action cricket is on another level. Thanks Norman and Sandy
